You hear the ukulele all over the place from adverts and youtube cat videos all the way to chart toppers like David Bisbal’s Diez Mil Maneras and, of course, made very popular by the master of ukulele Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwoʻole whose platinum selling ‘Over the Rainbow’ has become an all-time classic (see the video below).

This delicate little instrument is soft-spoken, light, uplifting and full of joy, so it’s not surprising that it’s used a lot. But it’s quite hard to find decent ukulele music, particularly stuff that doesn’t sound like a cat played it or that is lifeless and pulls your video down rather than filling it with positivity.
